Main window shows map or satellite image as a background. Stored in the database, objects, if found, are mapped onto the background image as well as user-made markers, lines, polygons and texts. The system has some additional windows: Control panel (top), Reference window (right bottom) and Scale window (left bottom). Control window is used for switching between various operating modes which are described below. Reference window shows current screen position on the map and allows to pan main window by dragging the red rectangle. Scale window shows you current scale in kilometers. All the optional windows may be minimized by pressing button and restored by pressing button.

To the right of main window one can see informational area divided into three frames: hint frame, object frame and search frame. Hint frame helps user to work correctly in any system state. Object frame contains the Object Tree. The tree has branches (for example, "Transport") and leafs (for example, "Railway Stations", "Subway Stations"). By clicking leaf checkbox user makes visible (and clickable) all the objects of such type. Search frame has simple text search mode and advanced search mode using additional parameters.
